snooded

one of my favorite new fall accessories is the snood .

(I like pronouncing it with a British accent)
AKA the circular scarf (although not as much fun to say)

Knitting a snood is the perfect 'first-time-knitting' project because its super easy to make.
Just cast on to your knitting needles and then knitting for as long as you would like your snood to be (single, double or triple-wrap - way extra long) .

Being a scarf-lover (its possible that own 52 of them...um i might have a problem.) the snood is a great refreshing update for the cold weather.
Throwing on a cozy one can double as a blanket as well as being a great way to add a pop of color to your fall look.

I am going to make a tomato red one thats a bit smaller --off to the yarn store to find a nice wool blend thats not too itchy!
